Birmingham Alabama Fall Minis

Birmingham Alabama Fall Mini Sessions: Family Portraits. It's that time of year! It is time to impress our friends with our gorgeous families! Time to hit all the stores and see their new fall releases! Also time for cool air, the list goes on!

This year I will have multiple different locations for fall minis. All offering different looks and options. Lets go few the options.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens is a gorgeous garden location near The Birmingham Zoo and the city of Mountain Brook. A few things to know if that the Birmingham Botanical Gardens does not allow outfit changes on property as well as no props. The gardens also does not allows pets. They also do not schedule photographers appointments so there will be other photographers on property. In fact in the fall there's normally A LOT of photographers on property. The gardens has multiple fantastic areas to shoot in. Especially for large families.

Aldridge Gardens in Hoover is another beautiful gardens in the Birmingham area. Aldridge is different in the fact that they make photographers reserve shooting time. Photographers must pay a yearly membership fee to be allowed to shoot in their gardens. They do however allow you to make outfit changes in the gardens and they also allow pets. They have a lot of pretty bridge areas too and water you can shoot in front of. Aldridge is just a few miles away from the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover.

Mt Laurel is another beautiful town near Chelsea and the center is a beautiful location to shoot in. Mt Laurel has a lot of amazing restaurants in the area like Area 41 Pizza and La Paz. My favorite thing about this location is they offer a nice wooded background as well as stone work and street urban shots. This makes it possible for a large variety of looks in a small area. Its also important to note that pets are also allowed here as well as outfit changes.

Tannehill State Park is a new location I am adding to my mix this year. They have some beautiful areas to shoot as well. Pets are allowed here as well as small props and outfit changes.

Sloss Furnaces has always been a favorite location of mine. The furnaces are not only amazing to look at there's just so much history there that each time I see and learn something new. Photographers have to pay per hour to shoot at Sloss and you also have to schedule the time you will be there.

This is my booking site where you can reserve a time and package. If you are interested in a studio session or a different location shoot me a message and I can work with you for your fall mini.
