Award Winning newborn photographer in Birmingham Alabama: Meredith Rowlen. I still can’t believe I was voted Birminghams Best six years in a row! What an honor, also wish they still did the awards it was fun to see all the local favorites from pediatricians to child care resources. Newborn sessions are one of my favorite type sessions to photograph. Theirs is nothing more precious than a new baby. I get to see these sweet babies when they are a little over a week old. Some family members haven’t even met the babies yet and I get to snuggle with them and photography them. You can see some of my work here on my website. 

There is a lot that goes into newborn sessions. Studio temperature, sounds, supplies and more. It can be very overwhelming for parents to prepare for sessions and I understand that with little to no sleep! I have a pretty extensive Newborn Information Packet that I will send you when you book your session and pay your deposit. You can review it all before baby comes so you can get some items together for the session. I also suggest that my clients look through my work on my website and facebook to see if there are any set ups they want to do as well. That way I will be able to pull the needed props and fabrics before you come for your session. Then when you arrive you will be able to look through my outfit and hat collection. 

I have been a newborn photographer in Birmingham Alabama for almost twenty years. That’s 20 years of me shopping on etsylol. So I have a lot for you guys to look at and through. I have Auburn and Alabama Football Helmets. Basketball, baseball, soccer and tennis props for the propped up pose. Moon pillows, hearts and counting sheets. I also have filler knitted blankets to fill different prop buckets and beds. If you are thinking of buying something you might want to check with me first cause I may already have it. 

I also have a large collection of wraps for babies. As you can see in my photo I have pretty much every color under the sun lol. That doesn’t mean you can’t bring in your wraps and props. I would love to see them and use them as well. This is all to say DON’T SWEAT IT you can come with just baby if you want, I have a lot.
