I try to be flexible and understand the need of my clients but I have ordering policies for a reason and from now on I am strictly enforcing them. I have made a few changes to my ordering.. I am No Longer offering Printed Proofs. I tried this out for the last few months and it has Not been working out. So I am officially removing this option with my sessions. Orders MUST be placed within 14 days. Your Images WILL be removed online if an order is Not placed within this timeframe. You will at that time be given the option to purchase a watermarked proof set for $50. They will be mailed to you and you will have SEVEN additional days to place an order. My ordering/turnaround process needs to be faster and I need your help with that. SO I am offering an incentive to my clients. If you order within the First 24 hours your session is online you will receive 10% off your order.
I also will NOT be giving orders to you before they are paid for. If you come to pick up all the orders from your session you can only take the paid for orders. If Grandma Jo has mailed a check and it’s just not here yet I completely understand BUT.. if I don’t receive that check and you already have the order that leaves me in a bad position and it leaves your session Open with me. No additional images can be ordered, no other orders can be picked up, and no additional sessions may take place until your session is officially closed and ALL orders are paid for. Then I’m left calling and emailing trying to get paid for product you already have. So this is no longer going to happen. I do offer payment plans and will work with you so you can get the images you want. But you will NOT receive the images until you pay for it in full.
There is a $200 minimum print purchase per session. This must be met before you can schedule another session with me. Please respect my time, art and business, I put a lot of time and money into each of my sessions.
IF you write me a bad check there is a $30 bad check service fee that Must be paid to Meredith Rowlen Photography.
As always I COMPLETELY understand that little ones get sick, moms and dads do too. Thanks SO Much for keeping me informed and rescheduling if need be. If you DO NOT show up for you scheduled session and you have NOT talked to me to tell me you aren’t coming you will Lose your session fee. WayTutuCute.com along with Meredith Rowlen Photography is having a model search for girls and boys ages 1 Month-8! Starting Monday, August 23, 2010, you can enter your little one’s photo for a chance to become a website model for WayTutuCute.com.
RULES
* One entry per child.
* You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest and you must have permission/rights to use the photo you enter.
* Child must be 8 years or younger as of September 19, 2010 and the photo must have been taken within the last 30 days.
* Only photos e-mailed to the email address listed above with the subject WayTutuCute.com Model Search, from August 23 – September 1, 2010, will be accepted.
* Include your child’s name, age, date of birth and size (clothing and shoe) in the e-mail, as well as your name, phone number, mailing address and email address
* Contest open to everyone, however if you live outside of driving distance from Birmingham, AL you will need to make arrangements for travel to complete the photo shoot in the vicinity of Birmingham, AL on September 19, 2010.
* Photo shoot will take place on Sunday, September 19, 2010. You will need to be available to have your child photographed on this date.
HOW PHOTOS WILL BE JUDGED
* The top 20-30 photos will be posted in an album on the tutu cute Facebook fan page on September 2, 2010.
* To vote for a photo you must first “like” the tutu cute Facebook fan page.
* Click ‘like’ for the photo or photos you are voting for in the Model Search album. Vote for as many children as you’d like.
* 1 Boy and 1 Girl Photo with the most ‘likes’ will be the “fan favorite”. Comments permitted, but will not count towards the total number of votes. WayTutuCute.com will choose the other 8 finalists.
* Voting will close September 10, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST.
* Official winners will be notified and announced no later than September 11, 2010 and will then be provided photo shoot time and place information.
WINNERS
* The fan favorite winners and the 8 chosen models will participate in a free mini photo shoot with Meredith Rowlen Photography (retail value $100) in Birmingham, AL. Time and place will be provided on or around 9/12/10.
* A 8×10 print of the best photo of your child, along with the option to purchase other photos a la carte. (retail $25)
* Winners will either receive a goody bag containing WayTutuCute.com merchandise or a gift voucher to the site. The goody bags will be shipped directly to the winners in October. This will depend on availability.
* Bragging rights that your little cutie is a model on WayTutuCute.com (photos will be displayed on WayTutuCute.com, as well as the tutu cute Facebook fan page) and MeredithRowlen.com.
* One grand prize winner will have their child’s picture displayed on the homepage of WayTutuCute.com in October, win a $25 gift voucher to WayTutuCute.com and a full photo session with Meredith Rowlen (retail value $100). More details will be provided after the photo shoot.
* The opportunity for your child’s picture to be displayed nationwide, on various websites that sell the participating designers items.
I’m super excited to inform you that the New Alabama Baby magazine is Out and there is a Great Article in there about my Son, Wilson and his fight with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Go and pick up a copy locally or go read it online Here. I love how they added a vintage flair and made it a diary layout with some of my photos.
